My wife and I have recently returned from a fantastic golf break at the Intercontinental La Torre Golf Hotel near Murcia, and only twenty minutes from San Javier airport. We were very impressed with this five star hotel and the room we were given was superbly furnished with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The meals in the hotel were very good but, with the exception of breakfast, the service was atrocious. The hotel did not seem to employ enough staff which was a pity as everything else was perfect. The numerous restaurants outside the complex provided a far superior service.
The La Torre golf course was first class and the layout was just perfect for holiday golf although the temperature was too hot for my liking. A small but friendly clubhouse provided reasonably priced food and drink, with good service.
We felt that the holiday represented tremendous value for money and we are grateful to YGT for the efficient way they organised our trip. This was the first time we have used this company but it will certainly not be the last.
