We are looking for an experienced Call Centre Sales and Training Manager to manage the call centre of 40+ energetic sales consultants on a daily basis.
Your Golf Travel is one of the UK's fastest growing private companies, listed in the Sunday Times 'Fast Track 100' 3 times between 2009 and 2011. It also ranked as London's fastest-growing private company. We are planning to launch many other exciting projects in the travel and leisure arena in 2012 and beyond.
Current positions available
Responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with UK and International suppliers; posting purchase invoices onto Sage, both in GBP and overseas currencies
- Accurate price checking
- Trade Creditor reconciliations
- Reconciling Supplier Payments/ refunds in system against bank
- and other responsibilities within the team.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (A-C) minimum
- ACCA qualified (or similar)
- Previous purchase ledger experience is essential. This is a fast paced role and the successful candidate will need to ‘hit the ground running’
- Experience using Sage
- Competent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook

As a Mid Level Developer you will have the chance to significantly impact upon the shape of a large number of internal and external systems, and you will be able to shape your role within the team to fit your particular brand of technical skills.
As a Senior Developer you will be involved in the design, development, testing, release, management and maintenance of various software solutions as well as mentoring junior team members and helping to improve our Agile development processes. The Role
As an Overseas Sales Specialist you will be expected to respond promptly to enquiries that are generated by phone, email, the website and our online partners to assist clients in booking all elements of their golfing holiday.
Your Golf Travel aims to offer more than just a booking service. Armed with exceptional venue and product knowledge, our sales team offer a consultancy service for golfers looking to book their next golf holiday. Sales Specialists are expected to establish the client's individual requirements and make recommendations accordingly.ents of their golf holiday.
Key Responsibilities…
- Selling golf holidays via inbound / outbound leads (Target led)
- Phone calls (receiving & making calls to clients and venues, minimum numbers in place)
- Emails (quotes to clients and communication with the venues)
- Calculating costs & preparing package quotes (including flights)
- Knowledge of Overseas venues and golf destinations is essential
- Creating your own client database
- Managing customer accounts for the Your Golf Travel Database
- Confirming all bookings with venues and customers
- Collecting customer feedback
- Dealing with amendments to booking details where necessary (tee times, group numbers, etc...)
- Provide an after sales service to clients by offering additional products (transfers, car hire, etc...)
- Taking payments via electronic payment systems
Required Experience…
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Essential knowledge of golf and destinations in Europe and Worldwide
- Full knowledge of GRS/CRS "Armadeus" preferred
