Kapalua is synonymous with golf in Hawaii, with an outstanding international reputation as a result of its two championship courses. Named the number one golf resort in Hawaii by Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine, there is no better destination for a golf holiday to America's Pacific isles.
Plantation Course
The Plantation Course will be familiar to most, having for a number of years been the host of the USPGA curtain-raising Mercedes-Benz Championship. The stunning par-73 layout has been graced by champions like Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, and has seemingly been mastered by Australia's Stuart Appleby. The incredible layout was conceived by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, and is the golfing reflection of the incredible Maui landscape that it spans.
Kapalua Course
While the Plantation is a demanding championship test, Kapalua's Bay Course is an easy going resort layout, with gentle undulations and unparalleled views of the stunning Pacific coastline. The signature hole is the 5th - one of the most photographed holes in the world, the green is perched on what looks like a precipice at the Pacific's edge. Measuring 6,600 yards, the Arnold Palmer-designed Bay Course is the perfect foil for the rigorous Plantation Course.
