Opened initially in 1999 and revised for a 2001 re-launch, Kennedy Bay is an astonishing layout that typifies the new design and construction techniques, and is bursting with character and charm.
The coastline of Western Australia is the setting for Baker-Finch's foray into the world of golf course design, where the local terrain is reminiscent of the famous golfing shorelines of the UK and Ireland. While Western Australia may be among the more remote of golf holiday destinations, but that does ensure that phenomenal value is achievable; of any in the list of the world's top 100, there are few that represent better value than Kennedy Bay.
The links course is modern in style, featuring raised greens with huge run-off areas, while the course runs fast and firm. While it is still young, Kennedy Bay is maturing nicely into a truly awe-inspiring seaside course.
