Kingsknowe is a challenging, undulating parkland course that is a popular addition for groups heading to Edinburgh for a golf tour, with a well established layout that offers splendid views back to the city centre and its iconic castle, plus a welcoming clubhouse.

Visitors should be well prepared from the get go at Kingsknowe, which opens with a challenging downhill par-3 whose small green is a small target for a first shot. The layout continues through mature woodland, with the heavy undulations of the land creating some extremely challenging holes.
Highlights include the dog-leg 5th, which needs two excellent hits to reach the elevated green, and the 8th, a long par-4 which is the highest point on the course, presenting fantastic views of Edinburgh castle.
