In the evening you can stroll into the main harbour area of Honfleur, which is no more than 500 yards away, with its range of shops, boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. This small town, located on the mouth of the Seine River, features lots of quaint traditional houses, small but excellent restaurants and a very cosy atmosphere engendered by the numerous narrow streets and little squares which are great for exploring on foot.
In the Vieux Bassin area there are a lot of small restaurants that serve excellent food and boast fantastic views of the harbour area, too.
