Golf courses
The style is similar to Florida's resort courses, with lush green fairways and a network of lakes to challenge visiting golfers. The putting surfaces are constructed in line with USGA guidelines, and with state-of-the-art drainage and irrigation systems in place, the course is always in absolutely immaculate condition. La Torre is a great place for a leisurely round of golf in the year round sun as part of your golf holiday in Murcia.
Hotel Information
La Torre is the most popular base for the fantastic Nicklaus Golf Trail thanks to the superb value on offer courtesy of its self-catered apartments and villas. The accommodation is formulated around the fantastic golfing complex devised by the Golden Bear, and is the perfect starting point for a terrific week of golf.
Choosing from the selection of two-bedroom apartments, or the more spacious three-bedroom villas, guests will enjoy not only the charming interior décor, which reflects the simplicity of the regional style, but also the excellent modern facilities.
In addition to the requisite amenities such as full air-conditioning, the apartments and villas are ideally located for access to all the delights of the La Torre resort. The local supermarket, essential for replenishing those all-important supplies, is nearby, as are a fantastic range of restaurants and bars for the après-golf enjoyment.

Big thanks Your Golf Travel for organising another fantastic golf trip for us. I think this was our 2nd or 3rd YGT golf break and I will certainly be back for next year’s holiday after having a wonderful time in Spain.
The La Torre Resort offered was great value at £169 for 3 nights accommodation and 3 rounds of golf on 3 different courses. The accommodation provided us with a much needed bed, sizeable living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The 60 sec walk to the pool was also an added bonus when requiring a much needed cool down after Golf. All in all I would give the accommodation a 9/10.On the whole the resort was pretty quiet so there wasn’t much to choose from in terms of bars and restaurants but we made do with a bar next to the Italian restaurant. We had a delicious takeaway pizza every night!
The Golf was a bit of a mixed bag as all 3 courses (La Torre, Hacienda Riquelme and El Valle) were undergoing treatment of some sort. Despite this Hacienda offered up a great challenge and was my favourite of the 3 courses with water coming into play on 6 or so holes. El Valle was my second favourite course and La Torre came in lat although it was still a pleasant course to play. I’s sure I would have enjoyed the courses more had they been in better condition but I understand the need for maintenance work to be carried out. I personally benefited quite a lot from the local ruling which meant you got a free drop in the thick marram grass areas and you didn’t even need to find your ball but it detracted from the game and made some of the scoring artificial! If you need a buggy, then I would recommend you book in advance as there were very few going spare.
All in all though, another successful golf trip enjoyed thoroughly by my group and I would always recommend YGT to anyone. The price is always spot on, I’m left alone after being sent our quote to book our trip in my own time and my requirements and queries are always met with the minimum of fuss.
