North Course
The North Course has established itself as the premier championship course at Mauna Lani, and is as visually beautiful as it is testing. Built on an ancient lava flow, the course is characterised as by the plantations of Mesquite tree, and the landscape is embellished by the huge protected archaeological reserve at its borders. The signature hole is certainly the par 3 penultimate test - a magnificent challenge built into an amphitheatre of lava rock.

South Course
The South Course is distinctly different in character to its resort neighbour, and was the host of the Seniors Skins Game in the late 1990s. The verdant course is carved through the rugged rock formation of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow. The 15^th is a spectacular signature hole, where you have to do two things: take a souvenir photo, and hit the ball over the cavernous water.
