As a guest of the golf hotel, you can enjoy access to this exclusive members-only club, which is one of only a few in Scotland measuring more than 7,000 yards. The hand-cut greens, cross-cut fairways and hand weeding give the course its immaculate finish. The course, has been built to exacting specifications - an investment that has paid off, especially when you look at the quality of the greens. The natural terrain makes an ideal canvas for a golf course and the large and heavily contoured putting surfaces offer a variety of challenging pin positions. There's no shortage of water features, dog-legs and bunkers and do try to avoid the 18 bunkers guarding the green at the long 11th hole or you'll have a problem making par.

You'll find everything you need to enjoy and improve your game, including a world-class golf academy and teaching centre. The clubhouse, meanwhile, contains a comfortable lounge, an upstairs balcony allowing panoramic views over the 18th fairway, a TV lounge and a dining room offering an interesting and ever-changing menu. The George Duncan suite is dedicated to the 1920 Open Championship winner who was raised in Oldmeldrum.

 The Main Hotel has nine, large, individually designed bedrooms, some with four-poster beds, giving you a real sense of living in a Scottish baronial mansion. Each of the nine bedrooms in the main hotel has been individually designed with many containing original antique artefacts associated with Meldrum House for many years. The views from the bedrooms take in the rolling parkland and our very own private golf course.
