MENDIP SPRING GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

The challenging Brinsea Course and the charming nine-hole Lakeside Course at Mendip Spring Golf Club are set in 200 acres of beautiful, rolling Somerset countryside characterised by lakes and waterways. The tranquil surroundings and magnificent views of the Mendip Hills certainly help make this a course to remember.

The Brinsea Course is a demanding par-71 built upon prime pastureland, supporting a wide variety of flora and  fauna. In addition, new habitats have been provided by the formation of 11 acres of interlinked lakes and streams plus extensive tree planting which complements the existing copses and hedgerows. The luscious parkland turf is well maintained and manicured by the greenkeeping staff. With a whole host of hazards, particularly, the narrow fairways, well guarded pacy greens, and strategically placed bunkers, it will test every aspect of your game.

The nine-hole Lakeside Course boasts seven par-4s and two par-3s and is an interesting 2,329yds. It is maintained to a very high standard with lakes and an orchard among the hazards to negotiate. The course is ideal for the beginner or player with limited time who wishes to keep his club selection up to scratch

In addition to the driving range, tuition and practice is also facilitated by a dedicated chipping area, putting green and bunker.

The clubhouse complex, centred around a 16th century farmhouse, is full of character and provides comprehensive bar and catering facilities, restaurant and function rooms.
