Mountain Ash is a unique golf club that sits atop the Cefnpennar mountain, an elevated situation that grants it outstanding views as far as the Brecon Beacon National Park to the north, and the surrounding Cynon Valley. Though short, the golf course itself is a truly entertaining experience.

The heathland mountain setting includes superb indigenous flora and fauna, while the layout itself has changed little since the club's founding in 1908. The historic Mountain Ash offers a warm welcome to all visitors, and with its location close to Merthyr Tydfil and the area's best other courses, it is ideal for inclusion in any good Valleys golf tour package.
