Our party of four have just come back from our Scottish Golf Tour and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our whole golf break experience. We stayed at the Nether Abbey Hotel in North Berwick which was exactly what we were looking for...not too flashy but very comfortable and the staff are really nice people.
On our golf tour we played four golf courses and they were all fantastic. Two of the golf courses were recommended by Your Golf Travel and because we had never heard of them we were sceptical about their quality. They were great though so we won’t doubt YGT’s expertise again!
Kilspindie is a quirky little links course and the views from all over the course are amazing. We found the most important thing around this course was accuracy from the tee. Stray too far off line and you can wind up in some horrible spots!
Cragielaw was an amazing golf course that is quite unlike any other. It is essentially a links course but features greens that would be more at home on a stadium course in the States. We will definitely be returning for another crack around this course in the future.
We played the number two course at Gullane and it was a real test. Apparently it isn’t as long as the number one course but it was still a tough ask! The greens are really tricky and when the wind gets up it can be a tough old battle with old man par.
The quality if the golf on our Scottish golf holiday was backed up by the expert organisation of Your Golf Travel. We shall be recommending you and the golf courses we played to friends and family golfers.
