Newport Links is seaside golf in the traditional sense. Having been designed by the prolific James Braid, the course's tight, undulating fairways, and postage-stamp greens are exactly what you would expect.

2008 will see the eagerly anticipated opening of the second nine holes here, which will transform Newport into a serious links destination. The new 17th hole promises to be one of the most dramatic holes in the country, however until it opens, visitors will make do with the original nine hole loop that has been satisfying intrepid golfers for over 80 years.
