| Dear Golfer, Despite Mission Hills hosting the main golf event of the week, it was left for the World's journalists to focus on a small residential neighbourhood in Orlando for their golfing news. Tiger Woods and his wayward driving abilities (with the car not his Nike driver!) took some focus away from the magnificent Molinari's victory at Mission Hills. This does go to show that the world of golf has a really broad spectrum of talent to make it a great world spectacle. Another bit of news worth noting is the BBC Sport Personality of the Year award nominees. Despite Lee Westwood's success in the Order of Merit and Ross Fisher's victory in the World Matchplay neither made the shortlist. Obviously I'll champion the golfing cause as much as I can but surely their achievements are of equal note to some of the others who made the cut this year? See you on the fairway soon! Lisa x |
