| Dear Golfer, This week saw the top professionals from the European Tour do battle over the links of Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and the Old Course. With the leader board littered with British talent, it does show how the amateur game, which plays most of its tournaments on links courses, benefited the likes of Dyson, Wilson, McIlroy and McGowan perhaps an Open winner is just around the corner! Dyson's -20 winning score was simply amazing, as I've never even broken 100 around those courses! I will also add that the winning amateur team score was an unbelievable -44! I just hope their handicap secretary caught the coverage and will be adjusting their handicap before they are unleashed on their next club medal.
