Welcome to this weeks newsletterWell it wasn’t quite the fairy tale return for Tiger that I’d hoped for! I did have high hopes for a Tiger style comeback after his holed bunker shot on 14 with a drive straight out of bounds on 15! Still it was a great tournament and it was fantastic to see the likes of McIlroy, Fisher and runner-up Casey perform on such an international stage. It was however Australian Geoff Ogilvy who reigned supreme with a classy 4 and 3 victory with a display of putting few could ever contend with. Although he’s often championed for his prodigious length off the tee it was his short game which received praise this week, from the coverage I saw I don’t even remember him missing a putt!In light of the sunshine that has met both Arizona and the UK this week; the golf season is now in full bloom.
