Dear Golfer,

As the professional circuits start to enter into the "wheel barrow season" (turn up and get paid inordinate sums of cash for playing golf), with the World Matchplay last week and the World Golf Championships in China this week, it does make me rather jealous! Although I'm sure you are thinking I'd "invest" my winnings in some rather nice Christian Louboutin's (shoes for any men reading this ;-)), I think it's just the great courses they get to play that triggers my green with envy thoughts. Finca Cortesin looked amazing on the TV last week and although China isn't necessarily known for its golf Sheshan International looked stunning.

To combat this I'm off to Faro on Thursday to sample some of the great courses in the Algarve, fingers crossed this will abate my winter sun craving. If not I'll have to ask my boss for another trip for some thorough research of the courses in the area!
