| Forest Pines is one of the best new courses to be opened in England in recent years. Despite only being inaugurated in 1996, the championship course has fast established a reputation as a genuine tournament venue.
Designer John Morgan, who currently plays on the Senior PGA Tour, has carved out some tremendous holes from the towering pines that are so characteristic of the landscape. The course is compiled from three separate nine-hole loops called the Pines, the Beeches and the Forest, with the different combinations adding welcome variety to a golf break. Regarded as the finest golfing venue in Lincolnshire if not beyond, Forest Pines superb layout is well worth a visit.
