Blackpool North Shore Golf Club is located just 500 yards from the North promenade of the famous holiday town. The private members club is among the most prestigious in the area, with a course designed by the esteemed Harry S. Colt.

Magnificent views of the coastline, as well as the peaks of the Lake District, set the backdrop for North Shore, which is a stern test of championship golf. Opened in 1920, Colt's design measures 6,431 yards, and hosted the 1963 match between professionals from Great Britain and the Rest of the World.
The course is unfussy and traditional, and its character is extremely dependant on the conditions in the area. With little to protect from the elements, Blackpool North Shore can be a fierce test, and is a fantastic option during a golfing adventure on the Lancashire coast.
