The resort spreads itself over 165 acres of glorious Northampton countryside. Despite its youth the 6,602 yard course at Overstone Park has quickly established itself as a favourite destination for travelling golfers.
The par-72 layout offers a fantastic test for golfers of every ability. It is however the greens which offer Overstone’s greatest defence, with tricky undulations to examine everyone who plays it, those who putt well are the most likely to conquer this Northampton test. With four par-5’s ready to test even the longest of hitters, the gargantuan 11th hole ‘Cedar Pass’ measures over 600 yards from the Championship markers and will require three mighty blows to secure old man par.
The golf course was recently awarded a Silver ranking by a national course survey.
The par-5 18th is a perfect end to any round, with a fantastic opportunity of a birdie or a bogey it’s a great finishing hole!
