Parque da Floresta is not your traditional resort course, and differs greatly from many of the Algarve's others. The course spans the hills and valleys that surround the resort, and has a number of spectacular holes, notably the amazing fourth, whose green is located way below the elevated tee - it will be heart-in-the-mouth stuff as you wait for the ball to finally land!

Designed by the famous Spanish architect, Pepe Gancedo, Parque da Floresta is pretty short by modern standards, but as the course winds its way up and down, there are plenty of challenges to be negotiated.

Parque da Floresta is a tremendous resort that still retains the quintessential charm of the Western Algarve, which has seen less development than the areas to the East. Set amongst the hills, you will enjoy fantastic rural views, but also have the convenience of the beach just two miles away.
The accommodation consists of beautiful private villas, which are built and decorated in the traditional Portuguese style. All are spacious, and come equipped with a fully functional kitchen, a spacious living area, and all the necessary amenities to ensure that you have a wonderfully comfortable golf holiday.
Parque da Floresta has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, while the more active travellers will be interested in the riding school, the well-equipped gymnasium and the tennis courts. For something a little more serene, head to the resort's health and beauty salon.
The coastal town of Lagos is a stunning town, rich in history, whose main square is the place to head for restaurants and bars.
