Just to say what a fabulous time we had at Patshull Park - the break you kindly organised for us last weekend. We could not fault the place, the staff were so pleasant and helpful, the course was in super condition and the food was good. We also realised what a good deal you got for us! So will be using you again. Many thanks,

Just returned from another Your Golf Travel golf break and this time we visited Patshull Park. The golf course was as I remembered it although the lack of recent rain has taken its toll and the fairways have suffered badly being very dry and burnt in some areas, particularly round the greens where bare lies caused us all sorts of problems!
The scenery is still splendid, and play on the first day (Sun 23 Oct) was brisk, but our second day was rather spoilt by a slow and inconsiderate 4-ball in front who held us up throughout the second nine. Never heard of etiquette this lot!
The hotel accommodation was comfortable and the food was excellent with a reasonably priced wine list. Unfortunately the bar tariff was a bit steep, especially Peroni at over £4.00 a pint!
YGT's organisation was spot on as usual - you have never let us down so thanks once again for a great golf break.
Here is a quick review of Patshull Park for your records and hopefully I will be luckier in your competition than I was on the course. The layout of the course is good and the condition was challenging on the first two days. Unfortunately we had a torrential downpour on the third which left it underwater for the first part of Sunday, although credit to the drainage system by the time we had reached the 9th it was dry again. It is undoubtedly a challenge for all handicaps and is probably not one I would recommend for those playing of 20 or more. This is down to the fact that the rough is unforgiving and you can lose a lot of balls. The clubhouse/19th hole was a very nice place to relax both before and after the round and a pint was reasonably priced at around £3.
The hotel is great and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is relatively easy to find considering it is in the countryside and you certainly can't miss the signs. Overall I would give the break an 8/10 in comparison to others we have had. The service we received from YourGolfTravel has been nothing short of exemplary with immediate responses to questions and nothing has been too much bother, especially as we have a tendency to change our minds several times in the process of booking. I would have no hesitation in recommending YGT & Tommy to friends and other golfers.
Many thanks again and I look forward to speaking to you soon.
