    Pelican Preserve

Pelican Preserve was designed by Chip Powell who has long been regarded as one of the premier golf course architects in Florida and his effort at Pelican Preserve has only served to enhance his reputation. Water is a constant threat to a good score so accuracy is important both from the tee and the fairways. Well manicured fairways weave their way between great swathes of sand and numerous grass bunkers and the putting surfaces require good concentration to safely negotiate the subtle undulations that can easily lead to an unwanted three-putt.

Measuring 6,850 yards from the tips, the course is not overly long by modern standards but the par of 72 is still a mighty challenge when you consider that danger that lurks all over the course. No matter whether you were able to conquer the course or not, upon completing your round you will want to head straight back to the first tee!
