Ploemeur Ocean is an attractive seaside course that features two very different types of holes. Half of the holes are genuine links holes featuring sandy turf and the other half are akin to classic parkland courses. The combination of the styles keeps players guessing and is sure to entertain golfers of varying experience.
With the holes quite tightly packed together, there’s not much room for error on the outward half. These holes feature an array of hazards including ponds, streams, rivers and of course the fearsome gorse. The back nine sees you heading for the village of Kerham and along the shoreline through a wonderful stretch of holes that starts at the 11th. With local wildlife and fantastic views in sight from the course, Ploemeur Ocean offers an unusual but very entertaining golf experience.
