From the championship markers, Quinta da Beloura reaches 6,422 yards, and despite only opening for play in 1994, is a mature test. This is mainly thanks to a dedicated programme to plant some 40,000 trees, while the presence of a number of lakes makes for some demanding but beautiful holes, particularly the 16th and 17th, where visiting golfers will need the perfect blend of bravery and accuracy to survive unscathed.
Quinta da Beloura is a firm favourite with regular travellers to the greater Lisbon area, and is well worth a round during your next golfing escape.
