The Richmond Golf Club was established in 1891, and is played in the shadow of the imposing Sudbrook Mansion, which dates back to 1790. Prince Andrew, Duke of York, succeeded the late Queen Mother as club president in 2006, which is testament to the standing of the club.

The course itself is a traditional parkland layout that spans some really lovely land. Though not particularly long – Richmond Golf Club measures 6,091 yards – there is plenty of challenge and intrigue. Much of the difficulty stems from the testing greens, which are small, subtle and protected by excellent bunkering.
With views across to the park and easy access from Richmond, The Richmond Golf Club is a delightful place to enjoy a round during your golf tour in Surrey.
