Royal Dornoch Golf Club is undoubtedly a member of the exclusive band of legendary links courses that enthusiasts flock to Scotland for. The Championship Course is ranked inside the country's top ten and has had Royal status for over a century.

The town of Dornoch is steeped in history and there is evidence of golf being played here over two Centuries before the club was founded in 1877. Old Tom Morris extended the course to 18 holes in 1889 with John H Taylor making a few changes to Old Tom's layout a few years later.

After the Second World War the Championship course was split in two and incorporated into the Ladies Course to create the Struie with George Duncan adding some extra holes to create the Royal Dornoch Championship links we see today.

Royal Dornoch provides links golf as it should be, accompanied with stunning views across the Dornoch Firth, by far one of the best courses to play on any tour of the Scottish Highlands.
