The course's design roots are shrouded in mystery, but a certainty is that Marianske Lazne is the second oldest in the Czech Republic behind Karlovy Vary, and also that the course is among the country's finest.
The pine trees that cover the landscape, which itself is some 700 metres above sea level, form the demarcation of the fascinating golf course. The town of Marianske Lazne has for many decades been an internationally celebrated spa town, and it seems only natural that the resort destination boasts a high quality golf course.
The altitude will certainly boost distance from the tee, but this places even more emphasis on accuracy. Not far from Karlovy Vary, Royal Marianske Lazne is a Czech gem of the highest quality.
