Royal Mid-Surrey is home to two excellent golf courses, both designed by five-time Open Champion J.H. Taylor, who was also the club's head professional. The Inner and Outer Courses combine beautifully to form a charming golfing experience, and one which characterises the joys of golf in the south east of England.
Outer Course
The Outer Course is generally used for the major competitions, and the layout has welcomed some prestigious visitors - in fact, the Outer Course record of 64 is shared by Bernard Gallagher and New Zealander Bob Charles.
Inner Course
The Inner Course is best known locally for the annual Mothers and Daughters Open competition, and it is also a delightful test. Both courses are maintained in excellent condition thanks to the 1997 installation of a hi-tech irrigations system, which serves to make the Royal Mid-Surrey experience all the more enjoyable.
