The layout is well established, and is a real championship proposition, measuring more than 6,500 yards at its peak. The style of Saint Jean De Monts is in some ways unique, with two halves that are distinctly different; on the opening nine holes, the layout is carved through mature pine trees, giving little hint of what is to come on the back nine.
These closing holes run alongside the Atlantic coastline, creating a spectacular setting for a truly memorable round of golf, and one that should be a certain highlight of any golf break in the Western Loire.
