Although close to Berlin city centre, Seddiner See is located in the heart of the lake district, and its peaceful environment belies its easy access via the Autobahn. Robert Trent Jones Junior's on site golf course is also one of Germany's most celebrated, and is currently ranked as the country's third finest.
The club was founded in 1994, and two years later, Trent Jones' South Course was opened, immediately garnering much praise from the international golfing community. The two lakes at the centre of the course not only make the 9th and 18th spectacular holes, but also play host to a terrific variety of wildlife.
The course itself is built in the style of a modern championship parkland layout, featuring large water hazards and seemingly innumerable bunkers. This is perhaps the Trent Jones trademark, which itself is a seal of approval on one of the finest courses to be established on the continent in recent years.
