The Waterfall Course is the layout that established Mannings Heath as one of England's top clubs, providing visitors with a taste of traditional English golf, as each distinctly memorable hole carves its way through the classic woodland landscape. The babbling brooks and streams embellish the picturesque course, which is also one of the most challenging around. Though not long, the renowned Waterfall layout is an exacting proposition, demanding accuracy above all else, and dealing out stern punishment for those who stray.
In 1996, Mannings Heath added the Kingfisher Course to its portfolio, and the excellent new layout has underlined the quality on offer here; despite its relative youth, the Kingfisher, which tracks the shoreline of the 14-acre Hawkins Pond, feels remarkably mature, owing much to the tremendous land that it shares with the Waterfall Course.
Mannings Heath also boasts good practice facilities, featuring a driving range, two putting greens and an indoor tuition centre.
Mannings Heath is the only golf club in the United Kingdom to have an AA Rosette conferred upon its cuisine.
The 45 bedrooms are individually designed and decorated to guarantee a truly memorable stay, and reflect perfectly the beautifully tasteful surroundings of the hotel and estate. The hotel is set in the midst of the exquisite estate, which is abundant with beautiful flora and fauna, particularly in the summer, providing an outstanding backdrop.
With unrivalled cuisine, the South Lodge Hotel is one of the finest destinations for your next golf or leisure break. The layered terraces of the manicured gardens serve to enhance the grandeur of the hotel's façade, and remind visitors of how superb a golf break at the South Lodge and Mannings Heath really is.
Chef Lewis Hamblet utilises the hotel garden and the best local producers to create an exquisite menu in the Camellia Restaurant, which has been awarded two AA Rosettes.
The open air Champagne Pavilion affords sublime views across the estate while you sip some fine fizz.
Groups can choose to stay in either the 4 bedroom Fullers Cottage, a restored 19th Century building next to the clubhouse or the spacious 6 bedroom Bothy Cottage just a 5 minute drive from Mannings Heath.

Had a great time this weekend at Manning's Heath. The Kingfisher was in great condition and a good warm up for our round on the Waterfall later in the afternoon. Surprised that some of the commentary was mixed but its definitely not a winter destination. We enjoyed it so much infact that, controversially, we were thinking of taking our girlfriends next time.
I just wanted to say thanks for sorting out the trip, the hotel was amazing, the courses were in great shape given the time of year and the food and service were exceptional. Many of the guys that played at the weekend said it was one of the best golfing weekends they had attended in years – the weather also helped! Many thanks,
My wife and I have just returned from our 6th golf break organised by Your Golf Travel and have enjoyed all of them equally. We recommend YGT to people at my Golf Club all the time and will continue to recommend you to anyone booking an upcoming golf break or golf holiday.
Our 2 night break at Mannings Heath was fantastic and even though we had a last minute change to the plans YGT made the amendments with their usual efficiency.
The South Lodge Hotel is fantastic. Outstanding service is backed up by wonderful food and comfortable accommodation.
The golf club is about 10 minutes from the hotel and I needed a sat-nav to track it down. Here there are two excellent golf courses and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The Waterfall Course is the harder of the two courses with some superb holes and as such is probably unsuitable for higher handicappers. The kingfisher Course is more open and a bit shorter and we found it more enjoyable to play.
I would rate this golf break as a 9/10 so well done Mannings Heath and YGT...keep up the good work.
