On Friday, September 16, Europe’s largest golf travel retailer will be hosting a fundraising event for children’s charity Sparks at The Addington Golf Club, Surrey, rated as one of the country’s finest layouts.
As well as 18 holes of golf, competitors will receive coffee and bacon rolls on arrival; complimentary halfway house and drinks buggy; and a buffet lunch with prize-giving and a charity auction.
Set in idyllic Surrey healthland, The Addington is one of Golf World’s top 100 courses in Great Britain and Ireland. The course has remained virtually unchanged since it was designed 95 years ago by renowned golf course architect John Frederick Abercromby who looked upon it as his finest creation.
With a mixture of intimate holes wandering through mature pine and birch trees and stunning views from hilltop tees, The Addington provides an enjoyable but testing round.
