Stranraer boasts the final golf course designed by the prolific architect James Braid before his death in 1951, and is packed full of character. Set on the banks of Loch Ryan, the coastal parkland track allows great views of Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran and beyond. The course is highly recommended, and is well complemented by the modern clubhouse and facilities.
