Though not as challenging as many of Scotland's rich array of championship courses, Taymouth Castle fills the necessary gap for those golfers who seek gentle and beautiful settings for a relaxing round.
The hills and glens of Perthshire surround the estate, but the course itself is relatively flat, allowing for every standard of golfer. Streams and ponds filter gently into the course, so good concentration is a must, but the course generally meanders at a lovely relaxed pace.
