Tewkesbury Park

The course at Tewkesbury is set in the wonderful surroundings of the Gloucestershire countryside. It boasts breathtaking views up to the Malvern Hills, across the Cotswolds and over the town itself, particularly from the Spikes Bar which is a great place to enjoy a refreshing drink after your round. Based in the grounds of the impressive hotel, the 6,533 yard Par 73 course has some classic mature features, impressive greens and testing water hazards. Watch out for the tricky par 3 5th which features a small lake just short of the green, making club selection a make or break decision.

Accommodation

The hotel has been extended from an 18th century manor house set high on a hill overlooking the historical town of Tewkesbury and its magnificent Abbey. Dining is a delight with the Garden Room serving English European cuisine to a high standard and the Greens Restaurant & Bar offering a range of light snacks and meals.

Your leisure needs are fully taken care of by an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, a gym, and squash and tennis courts. Nearby attractions include the cathedral city of Worcester, the surrounding Malvern Hills and Cotswolds, and the races at Cheltenham.

Set in the tranquil surroundings of the Malvern Hills and Gloucestershire countryside, Tewkesbury Park is an ideal accommodation option for a weekend golf break.

Golfer reviews

Many thanks for a great weekend. Excellent hotel and course with terrific service, thanks for your help,

Well, after a good nights rest I can report on the acclaimed success of our golf break to Tewkesbury. Very enjoyable, good hotel, food and staff, also course to our liking and well presented. There is overwhelming support for a return next year. Kind regards,

Just a line to say thanks for organising a very last minute golf break at Tewkesbury for my wife and myself earlier this week. Good hotel with fantastic food and a very good golf course. Cheers,

The hotel is well located, with an easy drive from the west of London, with comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The course is open, country estate style which is not too physically demanding, with a number of pleasing but challenging holes and considering the unseasonable dry weather was well presented. We believe the course is a fair test of visitors golfing ability. Regards,

All went well at Tewkesbury. We all thought it was a great venue. The course and wide fairways were in excellent condition. We were particularly impressed by the fleet of new groundsmen vehicles. The staff went out of their way to be friendly. The bedrooms were excellent. Tewkesbury has definitely gone in the file for a revisit in the future.
