It was as most enjoyable golf break to North Wales. Fortunately the rain stayed away but the wind blew all 3 days & when you are playing courses like Pwhelli, Abersoch & Nefyn it is not conducive to low scores. Parkland section at Pwhelli was very wet after the nonstop rain recently but the links section was fine. People in the bar were all very friendly. Abersoch was a fine course with several daunting links holes, not for the 28 handicapper & the parkland section was a bit boring but once again people very friendly. The Jewel in the Crown has to be Nefyn. We played the Old Course with the wind blowing off the Irish Sea & what an amazing course in immaculate condition. Just to top it off people must visit the pub down the slope from the 16th. Real ale & good food made the weekend very memorable. Nanhoran Arms Hotel was clean, very friendly staff & food was good. Only disappointment they ran out of real ale on Sunday night!

Thanks to YGT for the organising of the trip & will be using them again & possibly North Wales again.
