The course was originally designed by the architectural duo of Blandford and Gannon, with subsequent revisions by Piero Mancinelli, and has in the past hosted a number of prestigious tournaments.
Great names such as Bernhard Langer, Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman graced Ugolino for the Open Internazionale d'Italia in 1983, showcasing the quality of the par-72 layout.
At 6,244 yards, the course is probably deemed too short for international competition today, so this magnificent Tuscan gem is all yours, and should certainly be a part of a good golfing holiday in this beautiful Italian region.
