Ranked as the fourth best course in Belgium, and within Europe's top 100, Royal Golf Club des Fagnes was designed by the flamboyant English architect, Tom Simpson.

The club was founded in 1930, and the course that now exists traverses the magnificent sandy turf, with two distinct halves; the original nine holes are bordered by heather, and are reminiscent of England's great heathland courses, while the second half, added at a later date, is carved through the adjoining pine forests.
Royal Club des Fagnes is packed full of character, and if you like the sort of traditional golf to be found to the West of London at venues like Sunningdale, then be sure to include this outstanding course during your golf holiday in the Spa area.
