Looe Golf Club boasts some of the most spectacular scenery of any course in the south west, and is a true Cornish gem. The course itself was designed by legendary golfing pioneer Harry Vardon, who lifted the Open Championship's claret jug no less than 6 times.

The course affords views of the channel and Looe Island, as well as towards the Tamar Estuary and the peaks of Dartmoor. This rich and varied landscape sets the stage for an astonishing golfing experience, and one that is sure to be enjoyed by all those fortunate enough to include it in a golf tour in Cornwall.
The layout surrounds Bin Down, which is the area's highest peak; hence the terrific views of the local environs. The course measures a modest 5,940 yards, but it is still a decent test of golf. The blend of moorland and heathland styles is enchanting, and the course is a truly enjoyable golfing adventure.
