Lostwithiel's hotel is situated amid the rolling wooded country hills that overlook the picturesque valley of the River Fowey. The luscious 150-acre Cornish estate is the perfect place for a relaxing rural getaway, where the privately-owned and managed hotel prides itself on providing quality hospitality.
The bedrooms are built in the style of traditional Cornish cottages with natural stone and exposed wooden beams, but are equipped with all the necessary modern facilities for a truly comfortable golf or leisure break.
Lostwithiel's hotel guests can take advantage of the indoor swimming pool, gym, snooker table, two tennis courts, and a golf simulator that features 25 of the world's most famous courses. There are two local riding schools for those who fancy a gallop on the moors, while two nearby lakes offer anglers the chance to reel in some hefty Carp, Tench or Roach.
Nicknamed ‘Padstein', the quaint village of Padstow is home to TV chef Rick Stein's multitude of restaurants, cafés and brasseries.
Lostwithiel's restaurant overlooks the golf course, and sources many of its ingredients from local producers.
