Trethorne is a charming parkland course set deep amidst the rural Cornish countryside and is an idyllic retreat. The golf course is surrounded by luscious mature woodland and is a relatively easy walk for all visitors.
Measuring 6,465 yards and a Par 71, Trethorne is comfortably long enough to provide a challenge for good golfers, but also offers a great game for the average player.
Out of bounds and strategically positioned bunkers are the main obstacles to good scoring, provided that you can avoid the dangerous water hazards that lie in wait. The greens are free draining and are playable all year round.
Trethorne's signature hole is the short 16th, where water and sand await a poorly struck approach shot.
