MAGNOLIA COURSE, DISNEY WORLD
Location: Walt Disney World Golf Complex, 7 miles West of International DriveThe Magnolia Course is a truly special venue that allows golfers to walk in the footsteps of the game's most famous names; having hosted the weekend play of the Disney PGA Tour event for more than three decades, past champions include Tiger Woods, who won his second title in 1997, closing out on the spectacular Magnolia.
The longest and best of the Disney courses, Magnolia is a genuine championship test - there are tees to suit all golfers - and is carved into more than 1,500 striking magnolia trees. Amazing natural beauty is the perfect complement to the layout, whose vast expanses of pure white sand were mapped out by Joe Lee in the classic Florida style.
Elevated tees, large, undulating greens and the obligatory smattering of massive water hazards are among the hallmarks of the excellent Magnolia course, not to mention the famous Mickey Mouse shaped bunker, which will live long in the memory of any fortunate Orlando golf holiday visitors.
