The course is set in The Rosses of County Donegal, and winds its way along the cliff tops of the rugged coastline, setting an incredible scene. Though it is only nine holes, Cruit Island is packed with character and charm, with more than enough to keep visiting golfers entertained.
The signature hole is the sixth, a jaw-dropping par 3 played along the edge of the cliff, with the Atlantic chasm awaiting any stray tee shots. This welcoming club is a golfing experience unlike any other, and is one that is a welcome departure during any golf tour of Donegal and the north-west.
