WATER ROCK GOLF COURSE

Opened in 1994, Water Rock has quickly established itself as one of the most enjoyable courses in the Cork area. The layout was designed by Patrick Merrigan, whose past projects include the spectacular Old Head at Kinsale.

Visitors will enjoy the two loops which comprise Water Rock's par-70, skirting the banks of the Owencurra River, and will be impressed with the views over eastern Cork.

The signature hole is the 12^th, known locally as ‘Swan Lake', where golfers must tackle the challenging carry over water. Merrigan's creation here is a welcome addition to Cork's portfolio, and is well worth the visit during a golf tour to Ireland's south.
