Established in 1927, Belvoir Park is a quality parkland track, and successfully staged the 1995 Smurfit Irish P.G.A. Championships. Its designer, Harry S. Colt, has said that it is, "a course affording an excellent test, and at the same time, one that will give the maximum pleasure to golfers."

The fantastic layout has been complemented by a consistent programme of tree-planting by successive club captains, including pines, birches and cypresses which have greatly enhanced the maturity of the course.
The result of this careful attention is that Belvoir Park is a regular in commentators' list of Ireland's top 30 golf courses.
