CARRICK-ON-SUIR GOLF CLUB
Carrick-On-Suir is among the most prestigious of the golfing venues around the south east and Waterford. Ideal for inclusion in a Waterford golf tour, the golf course is located just 17 miles from the town itself.
The golf club at Carrick-On-Suir was formed in 1939, and it has matured into a real gem. From the championship tees, the layout can be stretched to around 6,800 yards, making it a genuine test for any visiting golfer. As with many of the Waterford area’s courses, Carrick-On-Suir is an extremely welcoming and hospitable club.
The long 5th and short 16th are among the highlights, while the closing hole at Carrick-On-Suir is a demanding and tight par 4 with water guarding the left side. This terrific parkland course is a joy to play, and makes a great addition to any Waterford golf tour.
