Tain Golf Club benefits from being situated in one of the most spectacular locations in Scotland. Old Tom Morris was blessed with a phenomenal canvas on which to build this Highland gem, with magnificent views afforded over the Dornoch Firth.
With water bordering one side of the course, and an imposing mountain backdrop on the other, the micro-climate gives golfers a good chance of playing in the sunshine. This fortunate position also means that Tain's head greenkeeper can keep golfers putting on good quality surfaces, and off the dreaded winter greens.
An outstanding golfing experience here is rounded off by the excellent comfort and service in the clubhouse, which was completely refurbished in 1998, including the ‘Greens' restaurant.
