DUNBAR GOLF CLUB

Situated magnificently on the estuary of the Firth of Forth, Dunbar is a fantastic links course, originally designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris around 1850.

The course opens gently with a couple of holes slightly inland, before the true character of Dunbar is revealed with some majestic holes along the coastline. Many of the country's top golfing tournaments have been staged here over the years, including Open Championship Qualifying, the Scottish Amateur, the Scottish Professional and the Scottish Boys Championships.

With little to protect golfers from the elements, the links at Dunbar is an exceedingly challenging proposition.
