Club Golf d'Aro is one of the older courses on the Costa Brava, and one of the best, featuring a par-72, 18-hole championship course of around 6,800 yards and a 9-hole (pitch and putt) course, both of them in the heart of the resort and enjoying spectacular views of the Costa Brava, Les Gavarres, Montseny and the Valle de La Selva.
More than a thousand olive trees, pines , cork oaks and two artificial lakes were employed in the design of the course, penned by architect Ramón Espinosa. This undulating course's strategically placed bunkers make it a challenging but interesting layout, as do the ravines falling down both sides of some fairways - where a steady nerve and very straight hitting will help preserve your score! All in all, it's a course you will never forget, for all the right reasons.
